I just want to take the time to say that I love dA...Like a LOT.

It's the coolest place I've seen on the web. There's just so many artists and so many styles and so many pictures, photos, crafts, artistic activities, factions, clubs, fads, parodies, literature, helpful directions and diagrams, products, and even complete CRACK on here that you CANNOT ignore this place for long if you enjoy ANY kind of art.

Sure, this place has a few "quirks" and "strange” features, but what can you really do about that? Besides, a lot of members just can’t get enough of those “strange and quirky” things anyway…You know what I mean…and you know who you are.

However, live and let live is what I say.

And no matter where you go, there will always be haters. Don’t let them get you though. Because a hater is, in a way, a fan. If they didn’t care about you or your art in SOME way, they’d be indifferent about it and not comment at all, right? Though they can be annoying, I’ve observed.

But besides these things, and a few others I could name, I love dA. It let’s me grow artistically, just by watching others’ drawing styles. I myself am trying to find a stable and hopefully permanent drawing style of my own currently, and also trying to get the basics down, like being anatomically correct and coloring in a work realistically. And the more I grow, the more I’m thankful for this site and all it’s helpfulness and awesome artists who are also helpful and inspirational just by doing what they love.
